Author Denise DeBurst Gines discovered that God is looking for an encounter with us every day, even in the small things we do. Still, we are so busy; we don't realize the opportunity to recognize and acknowledge Him.
God has many names and will always hear us when we call out to Him. He wants us to experience His different characteristics by understanding what His names reveal. We may encounter Hm as Yahweh, Adonai, Elohim, Jehovah, Jireh, Jehovah Nissi, or El Shaddai. Each name personifies a different aspect of His character.
God created His work by the seventh day. In doing so, He provided every resource we need to be successful in living out our God-given destiny. We live in the Seventh Day, a day that is blessed and sanctified, where we only need to learn to access the undeniable resources that He has already provided. Once we understand that we are no longer in a day of waiting for things to happen to us, something powerful can happen through us. When we seek God's truth and desire to honor our covenant with Him, we have access to all of God's promises.

As a producer/interviewer for the HistoryMakers® for more than a decade, Denise has conducted hundreds of oral/video life story interviews for the archive. She volunteers her time as an HIV/AIDS prevention counselor, facilitating classes in, What women need to know about HIV.
Denise is the owner of Lasting Legacies LLC, a company that assists families in creating genealogies and preserving stories and photographs in family history books so that they may be passed on to future generations. With Degrees in Business administration, Denise was named a Top Ten Businesswoman, by the American Businesswomen’s Association (ABWA).
