The book, which consists of three parts (Relationships, Stress, and Encouragement), uses personal stories and thought-provoking questions to help students focus on the important issues in their lives such as identity, core values, and finding a purpose.

Lori is not only an author, but also a high school teacher, a dual credit instructor for Indiana University Bloomington and Ivy Tech Community College Bloomington, and a school librarian.
She feels a passion to prepare students for their next steps in life after high school. While serving her students is always at the top of her professional priority list, Lori also enjoys working with other educators writing curriculum and speaking at various events.
